This is some of the experiences that have taken place in our lives as we have been called to serve as Mission President and wife of the Mississippi Jackson Mission in 2009. We are now adding some candid shots of our missionaries as they move the Work forward in this Great Mission. Sorry to report that we cannot include everyone, we try to hit some of the highlights.

Leadership Training - Learning to be Effective Teachers
We have changed our meeting schedule. Zone Conference was held
every six weeks, now we will hold it every twelve weeks. Interviews with each missionary were held every six weeks, now they will be every twelve weeks. Every other month we will hold a Leadership Training Meeting. We just finished our first series of Leadership Training meetings. We trained our Zone Leaders, District Leaders, and Trainers, which is about half of our mission. There are eight lessons, so we covered two lessons each day, and then went out in the evening and practiced what was learned that day. Sister Tucker made sure our missionaries had a yummy lunch each day. The members in the Gulfport Stake and Shreveport Stake spoiled our Missionaries with dinner each night. It was a fun and wonderful time, we understand better the role of the Holy Ghost in teaching. The spirit was strong during our meetings.
