The Mission President's Vehicle

The first photo is of our car taken last year on August 19th, it was brand new, the second is a picture taken this year on August 19th, of our speedometer. We were on the way home to Jackson from a day trip to Shreveport when it flipped over to 40,000 miles. Have I ever mentioned that we spend a lot of time on the road!

Pretty Flowers, In Spite of the Heat

I am always amazed at the variety of beautiful flowers, even when it is over 100 degrees

Did I Mention That It Was Hot In Shreveport?

During the week of Leadership Training, by lunch time it was already 100 degrees, by the time the meeting ended our car (which was in the sun) said that it was 115 degrees. The local bank said it was 105 degrees. That's pretty hot in the humid South.
