Elder & Sister Staheli

Elder & Sister Staheli spent the week with us during Zone Conference, Elder Staheli is our Area Medical Advisor, he was able to talk to us about bug’s and bites, it was a little creepy but very informative.  He also took the time to meet with anyone who wanted to visit with a doctor.

Nothing Better Than Family!

Thanks to President Tuckers niece Becky, a Tucker Family Reunion was held in Jackson on Saturday.  We were treated to a visit from President Tuckers brothers and their wives, along with some of his nieces and nephews and their families.  His only sister had planned on coming but had to stay home due to health problems.  Sunday we were greeted by our Jackson Branch Missionaries, Elders Bendel, Green, McLean and Flint

Texarkana Texas or Arkansas

Someone was creative when this town was formed and decided to have half of the town in Arkansas and half in Texas.  We decided to check out the boundary marker and here is what we found.

Texarkana Weekend

We were able to enjoy a Saturday evening performance of the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble which was amazing.  Sunday we attended church in the Texarkana ward and enjoyed our wonderful missionaries Elders Palmieri, Jones, Larson and Sumsion.

A day full of adventure! First thing in the morning our new missionaries travel to Clinton and meet some of the other missionaries, and climb aboard the transfer van.  Some of the sisters are quick to gather for a photo opt with the new sisters.  Later we made a trip to the airport so that Elder Higgs could began his travel to Mexico where he will complete his mission.  A couple of hours later we made another trip to the Airport, this time to get Elder Evans who has been home recovering from knee surgery.

Better Pictures of our Assistants

After a Trainer Training meeting at the Clinton Meetinghouse, we went back to the rear of the parking lot for photos of our assistants.  It is so beautiful and would make a perfect setting for a temple :)

Elder Nykamp New Assistant

Saturday Elder Nykamp began serving as an Assistant to President Tucker.  Elder Spangler is teaching him all that he knows so that he can move to a new area and train a new missionary on Tuesday.  When we arrived at the office Tuesday morning this is how we found them – It helped put a smile on all of our faces.

Mission Presidents Seminar–Atlanta, Georgia

Leaving mission boundaries is a big deal, especially when it only happens two times a year.  We had the opportunity to drive to Atlanta and attend our last Seminar.  We will miss the wonderful training by our leaders and  association with the other mission presidents and wives in our Area.  This was also the last Seminar for President & Sister Satterfield, President & Sister Cotterell, and President & Sister Thomas.
