We attended and spoke in the Red Star Ward, we enjoyed seeing Elder Spangler on his first Sunday in the Mission Field. Elder Manning is taking good care of him. After the meetings the ward had a Linger Longer. Bishop Smith is the 4th Great Grandson of the earliest convert in this area.
This is some of the experiences that have taken place in our lives as we have been called to serve as Mission President and wife of the Mississippi Jackson Mission in 2009. We are now adding some candid shots of our missionaries as they move the Work forward in this Great Mission. Sorry to report that we cannot include everyone, we try to hit some of the highlights.

The Mission President's Vehicle
The first photo is of our car taken last year on August 19th, it was brand new, the second is a picture taken this year on August 19th, of our speedometer. We were on the way home to Jackson from a day trip to Shreveport when it flipped over to 40,000 miles. Have I ever mentioned that we spend a lot of time on the road!

Elder & Sister Swinson
Elder and Sister Swinson have been serving in Biloxi, Mississippi, as Military Relations Missionaries. We were able to meet them for dinner and share some of the wonderful experiences they have had while serving on their mission. We appreciate all that they have done for the military personnel they have fellowshipped and cared for. They will return to their family and grandchildren on the 10th of August.
