We enjoyed the evening with Elder Denucci and Elder Hintze before they returned home to their families. Elder Denucci LOVES football and was practicing some moves with President before returning home.

Shreveport Sights
We found this “Prowler” while spending the weekend in Shreveport for Stake Conference. We had a son whose pinewood derby car was designed after this vehicle so it was a fun photo to take. The weather is absolutely beautiful this year, it is hard to believe it is January.

Missionary Change at the Bishop’s Storehouse

Gulfport Baptism
This morning we were privileged to hear from Elder Bluth and Elder Gonzalez of the Seventy during the Gulfport Stake Conference. This afternoon Elders Tyler and Evans who are doing a great job training Elder Carpenter, gave him the opportunity to baptize the newest member of the Gulfport Ward.

Evening in the Mission Home
After a day of activities the new missionaries spend the night in the mission home.
Lunch and Orientation
Our new missionaries get a chance to relax a little, have some lunch and then will be oriented and have a chance to go out and do some missionary work.

The Airport
The new missionaries gather there luggage and then we pose for a few photos at the airport.
Foggy Day
Each time we make a trip to the Airport we document it with a photo. We made a trip in the morning for a missionary to return home and again in the afternoon for our newest missionaries to arrive. The fog in Mississippi is a warm humid fog, as you can see it disappears by afternoon

On Sunday we attended the Clinton Ward, the ward is in good hands with the dedicated service of Elders Alvey, and Neunswander along with Sisters Hawkes and Harding. The member in this photo is a great support to our missionaries.

President Tucker talked about Goals, Planning, and Vision, the Assistants taught us about the Divine Companionship, and how we recognize when we have the Holy Ghost in our companionship. Elder Alvey is our new Zone Leader this month.
