Mission President’s Interim Seminar

This year the wives of the Mission Presidents were invited to the Mission President’s Seminar in Atlanta, Georgia. We decided to drive and to see some of the beautiful countryside along the way. Some of the highlights of our driving trip included the Birmingham and Atlanta Temples, the Mercedes Benz Plant, the NASCAR superspeedway Talladega and of course a Costco. We don’t have a Costco in our mission, just a Sam’s Club, it is one of our favorite places to shop. While at the Seminar we had a wonderful experience being taught by our Priesthood Leaders, Elder Gonzalez, Elder Malm, and Elder Gibbons. During the Seminar we all climbed on a bus to tour the newly renovated Atlanta Temple. Saturday we traveled home a different way and spent Saturday evening with family in Northern Mississippi. After attending church in Senatobia Mississippi Sunday morning, we made our way back home to Jackson

Gospel Principles Class Jackson Branch

We attended church at the Jackson Branch and were greeted by Elder & Sister Scott along with Elders Snider & Hatch and some of the friendly people attending the Gospel Principles Class.

April Zone Leader Council

Another wonderful Zone Lead Council, we learned about how the Lord can teach us when we take the time to study. The zone leaders were given an opportunity to study, prepare and teach a short lesson during the council. The assistants helped us learn about utilizing the atonement in our lives.
